The combination of art and design has been an essential foundation for the development of my conceptual ideas and original style. Through many years of study I have gained both the knowledge and technical ability that has allowed me to create unique ceramic sculpture. Using these forms as a three dimensional canvas, I apply textural patterns, exploring the relationship between form, balance and visual rhythm. Problem solving how the visual effects of a piece can manipulate the senses is a continuous learning process, each study inspiring the next generation of work.
